Black British Millennium Culture Centre

The effect of the use of space in our cities is a response to the ‘nature’ of its surroundings and notable, human nature is the most fascinating attribute to global evolution.

With considerations to design and engineering to achieve a net zero environment, I am taking an approach to target the interaction between humans amongst each other and collaborating to achieve global targets.

Humans, Nature and Architecture, are interlinked and with focus on Architecture to connect society in creating global peace can also reflect in the environmental nature. For this project my aim is to address social issues of racism in the UK by celebrating the progression of humanity and the potential within modern youth and future generations to eliminate racial discrimination.

The Black British Millennium Culture Centre to be located in Bristol, UK, is aimed to celebrate the ‘Afro-Caribbean Society’ that identifies as British and have adapted in the UK from African and Caribbean heritage.
